Practicum Site for Therapist Trainees (Master's Program)
Looking for a practicum site for your master's degree requirement? We are accepting applications for Therapist Trainees / Master's Student Interns in Hanford, California.
FCCS offers Practicum experience with weekly supervision. Students can get experience with the following:
- working in a therapeutic setting with a supportive team - effective interventions - client contact (therapy) hours - clinical documentation - therapy groups - grant writing - program development
We work with a variety of clients, but our primary focus is children and families who have experienced emotional and/or attachment trauma.
Our Practicum positions are volunteer, meaning you will not get paid for your time, but you will gain valuable experience and have an opportunity to transition into a paid position immediately upon receiving your Associate Registration number.

We provide therapy for various trauma issues including absent parent, parent in prison, violence, witnessing violence, domestic violence, tragedy, murder,, witness to murder, grief, loss,, death, friend killed, violence in neighborhood, fear, first responder, vicarious trauma, nightmares, panic.
