Family & Children’s Counseling Services is happy to welcome Marco Cruz as a Therapist Trainee!
 
Marco completed his Bachelor's of Art degree in Psychology at Sonoma State University and is currently completing his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide. He is under the clinical supervision of Melinda Haynes, MA, LMFT 102308. 
 
As a therapist, some of Marco’s goals include: offering a space for individuals, couples, and families to share their story, guide clients to find their best self and offer clients the possibility to have a good quality of life. 

To maintain self care, Marco likes to spend time with family and friends. Marco also loves trips to the beach where he reflects on the Earth's size and how small he is in comparison, which grounds him every time. During his downtime Marco also likes to host BBQs for friends and families to come together, play games, dance, listen to music, and sing. Marco also likes to practice meditation and calming exercises as a way clear his mind and be at peace. 
 
Marco will provide community-based services in Tulare County and will see clients via Telehealth throughout California. ​
