Battle Depression & Anxiety and WIN with This Amazing Technique! #depressionhelp #anxietyhealing Why do we run around trying to pretend we have it all together all the time?
We all have broken parts. Those broken parts of us are where the light shines through and where our stories are. When we have ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), past trauma, anxiety, depression and/or codependency stuff, we can wear ourselves our trying to hide or mask our issues- as if they are something to be hidden. What if it's okay to be not okay? What if broken is beautiful? What if the light shines through the cracks? Let's stop letting shame rule our lives. Being through something horrible and surviving is not shameful. It's Powerful. It's a testimony.
Quit trying to anxiously fix your broken pieces. That's where the light shines through. Your brokenness is a part of your story - not the whole part. And having shades and contrast is beautiful. Just having a perfect life with everything handed to you on a silver platter is boring. You won't impress anyone with that. Not that you're looking to impress people, but you know what I mean, right? You won't reach as many people with your Pollyanna Perfect life.
People love comeback stories because they are looking for hope. Your brokenness can be someone's hope. Not just your brokenness, but how you recovered from it, how you triumphed over it. And how are they going to see that story? The light that shines through those broken pieces. I love you, beautiful one. Keep shining until you feel the light. Don't lose faith. Don't lose hope. We belong to the same tribe of healing warriors.
