Is Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) basically "grown" Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD)? Did adults with Narcissism or Borderline have attachment struggles as a child? One characteristic of both childhood attachment and personality disorders in adulthood is the charm vs attack. This can happen due to splitting, or black and white thinking, or what we might call "Jekyll and Hyde."
