Payment for services rendered is the responsibility of the client. Billing insurance is a courtesy we provide to our clients.  We make every effort to ensure proper payment from insurance companies and ask our clients to cooperate with us as we navigate the frustrating and complex insurance world.

We are no longer accepting Anthem traditional or Magellan traditional (meaning the ones NOT tied to Medi-Cal). as they have a history of providing incorrect information, causing us to lose tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid claims. 

We are a small non-profit organization with fee-for-service as our only source of income. We are unable to absorb the financial damage done by unethical practices of some major insurance companies.

​Please call the number on the back of your insurance card to find an in network provider. We encourage you to get everything in writing.

Other Insurance 

For other insurance, we would be considered out of network (OON).  In this case, the client self-pays, then receives a superbill from us to present to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to find out information regarding individual and family deductibles and co-payments.
