​Applied Practicum Experience Sites for Therapist Trainees (Master's Program) In California

Looking for a practicum site for your master's degree requirement?  We are accepting applications for Therapist Trainees and Healthcare Administration Interns throughout California.

FCCS offers practicum experience with weekly supervision.

Therapist Trainee Practicum Students can get experience with the following:

- working in a therapeutic setting with a supportive team
- effective interventions
- client contact (therapy) hours 
- clinical documentation 
- therapy groups 
- grant writing
- program development
- collaborating with colleagues regarding daily organizational functions
- planning and delivering community outreach and client retention activities
- program development and evaluation
- research and development
- and more

We work with a variety of clients, but our primary focus is children and families who have experienced emotional and/or attachment trauma.

Our Practicum positions are volunteer, meaning you will not get paid for your time, but you will gain valuable experience and have an opportunity to transition into a paid position immediately upon receiving your Associate Registration number.
