Health and Fitness Coaching Our mental, emotional and physical health are interconnected. When we lack physical activity and eat unwholesome foods, we can feel emotionally distraught. When we feel emotionally distraught, we can engage in emotional eating and lack the energy to participate in physical exercise. It's a vicious cycle and downward spiral that many of us have experienced.
I combine my training and experience as a mental health professional, fitness coach and corporate trainer for an international weight loss company to provide effective lifestyle coaching for individuals struggling to get over that initial hump. Together, we work on incorporating healthy attitudes, thoughts and behaviors into your lifestyle. Lifestyle coaching is active. We may walk 'n talk, try new sports-related activities, train at the gym, grocery shop and/or meal prep together. We maintain contact via text in-between appointments for support and accountability. Your coaching experience is designed around your goals, preferences and other factors that may influence progress.
We won't focus on the number on the scale, but will find other ways to measure progress. Weight loss cannot be guaranteed, but is usually a side-effect of engaging in new, healthy behaviors.
