Family & Children's Counseling Services is proud to announce the addition of a new Therapist, Tyree Griffith!

Tyree is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in California. His education consists of an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Mental Health Clinical Counseling, all of which he received from the University of Phoenix.

His post graduate experience as a student intern involved working at a substance abuse treatment center. During his internship, Tyree was able to gain much-needed experience by offering counseling services for clients being treated for dual diagnosis, which involved drug and alcohol abuse and mental health disorders.

Tyree’s treatment approach involves cognitive behavioral therapy. His approach allows clients to feel safe and to be themselves in a healing environment. 

Clients often compliment Tyree on his respectful attitude and ability to manage difficult situations with compassion.
