Theron completed an Associate's of Arts Degree in Social and Behavioral Science at San Diego Miramar College in 2016, where he transferred to the University of California, Berkeley, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 2018, and additionally between 2021-2024 completing his first of two masters at Point Loma Nazarene University in Higher Education Counseling and Guidance and Second Master of Science in Sports Psychology at National University. Theron is now receiving his third Master's and certification in Mental Health Clinical Counseling as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) at Concordia University Irvine. He is under the clinical supervision of Melinda Haynes, MA, LMFT 102308. 

Theron is a counseling intern with a decade of experience working and serving diverse communities with cultural competence, humility, sincerity, and building relationships through a person-centered, holistic approach that serves Mental Health Counseling, Athletes, individuals, and families navigating life's complexities and troubles. Providing a culturally responsive and non-judgemental environment where individuals thrive, grow, and build personally and grow mentally, emotionally, and behaviorally. Theron has a deep commitment to supporting each client's unique background, especially Athletes and African American/Black communities navigating the complexities of life and the challenges of achieving equity and inclusion, as well as those facing socioeconomic challenges. 

Theron believes all individuals deserve a life of self-sufficiency, support, empathy, and encouragement to find within themselves the strength to face the daily challenges life brings to our doorstep. To achieve anything in life, one needs support, guidance, and opportunities to grow personally and externally to reach one's fullest potential. This philosophy guides his work, empowering clients to recognize their power and create a pathway to success. 

In Theron's free time, he enjoys sports, reading, discovering new food spots in his community, and spending time with his blue-nose pit bull while watching movies and shows with his wife.

Theron will provide community-based services in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County and will see clients via Telehealth throughout California.
