Family & Children’s Counseling Services is happy to welcome Gloria Velasquez as a Therapist Trainee!
 
Gloria is currently completing her Master in Social Work at Grand Canyon University and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Forensic psychology in Argosy University. She is under the clinical supervision of Melinda Haynes, MA, LMFT 102308. 
 
Gloria's goal is to help clients overcome daily challenges and achieve overall well-being by providing a caring and supportive therapy environment that addresses their mental, physical and emotional needs. Gloria aims to empower clients to share their stories and work toward discovering their best selves.

In her free time Gloria enjoys spending time with her family. Gloria prioritizes self-care by engaging in activities like hiking, attending sports events, playing tennis, and traveling. She also enjoys reading, socializing with friends ( by hosting gatherings), and practicing mindfulness through meditation and yoga to maintain her well-being.

Gloria will provide community-based services in Lancaster, California and will see clients via Telehealth throughout California.
