Family & Children’s Counseling Services is happy to welcome Ella as a Therapist Trainee!
 
Ella is a San Francisco native who holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Pepperdine University. She is working toward dual licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She is under the clinical supervision of Melinda Haynes, MA, LMFT 102308. 

Ella has focused experience working with individuals navigating substance abuse recovery and grief therapy. She is dedicated to supporting clients through the complexities of loss and the challenges of addiction, providing a compassionate and grounded space for healing. Her clinical approach is rooted in advocacy and restorative practices, ensuring that individuals receive specialized support to address behavioral and mental health concerns.

Beyond her work with adults, Erendira is passionate about supporting families. She believes the family system is a powerful source of healing and works with families to improve communication and navigate challenges across developmental stages. She provides a warm, engaging space for children and adolescents to build emotional resilience while collaborating with parents to navigate behavioral concerns.

Outside of her clinical work, Ella is a devoted single mother who is deeply involved in her daughter’s school and extracurricular activities. As a resident of Marin, she is passionate about her local community and enjoys the coastal lifestyle. Together with her daughter, she loves traveling abroad, exploring new cultures, and staying active through surfing, paddle boarding, and hiking.

Ella will provide community-based services in the Marin County area and will see clients via Telehealth throughout California. ​
